As Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University, our rare works in our library collections, which can be considered as cultural heritage products, were identified and 50 of our rare works, which we deemed appropriate, were included in the digitization process and contributed to our project.

Our collection included in the project consists of works brought to our library from different donors. All of our 50 works in the project are printed, with texts in Ottoman, Arabic and French languages, and mainly contain topics such as geography, law, history and social sciences. Publication dates cover the 19th and 20th centuries.

The project aims to provide open and fast access to cultural heritage digital resources for researchers, academics, students and professionals. Our wish is that our Istanbul Cultural Heritage Digital Library develops day by day with the increase of partner universities and survives for future generations.
